Open position: District Administrative Secretary

The Boone County Conservation District (BCCDKY) is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented individual who enjoys making a difference and being part of a team to help protect local natural resources.  The District Administrative Secretary will be responsible for conducting daily business and reporting duties, as well as assisting the District on conservation programs. While minimum requirement is high school diploma, a preference will be toward background in environmental studies, natural resources, or a related field, including college studies. Applicant will need a valid driver’s license, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to lift 50+ lbs., and a passion for local conservation. This full-time position will have occasional weekend and evening hours, as necessary.
