COVID 19 Update

BCCDKY is taking every precaution to ensure the health and safety of our staff and program participants. We have modified in-person programs and meetings to include multiple sanitizing and personal protective measures and practice social distancing at all times. We also ask that you make an appointment before visiting our office (859-586-7903 x.3), as we are not taking walk-in visitors at this time.

Wildlife Research

Student teams from local universities are helping to collect important wildlife data from our forests. This information is being used to help understand ecosystem health and improve land management efforts. Learn about our projects here

Focused Conservation Project

NRCS is sponsoring a forest conservation project for landowners in the Middle Creek Watershed to remove invasive species, plant native trees, install pollinator fields, and improve riparian vegetation. Learn more about the project here.
