Pond Scum and Maintenance Workshop
High temperatures means lots of algae in our ponds! If you have pond scum on your farm or neighborhood pond, this workshop is for you! Learn how to identify harmful algal blooms and ways to control algae growth.
Congratulations to our 2022 Scholarship Winners!
Abigail Todd, a Ryle High School graduate who will be pursuing a degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Science with a minor in Geographic Information Systems at University of Kentucky and Cameron Kuehn, a Cooper High School graduate who will be majoring in Wildlife Management-Conservation at Eastern Kentucky University. Both Abigail and Cameron have been deeply involved in studying natural resources of Boone County and we are very excited about their future in the environmental science field. Congratulations, Abigail and Cameron!
