Calling all students aged 13-15!
Join us for Leadership, Exploration, and Fun!
This exciting program offers local youth an opportunity to develop leadership and outdoor skills that will last a lifetime. From fly fishing, snorkeling, wilderness survival skills, kayaking, and hiking, they will find fun and adventure around every corner. Each day, the program will take place at a different natural area in Boone County, including Middle Creek Park, Boone Cliffs State Nature Preserve, and Gunpowder Creek. Activities are staffed and led by Wilderness First Aid and CPR certified naturalists and educators from the Boone County Parks Department and the Boone County Conservation District. Check out this video to catch a glimpse of what L.E.A.F! Academy looks like!
Prior outdoor experience is not necessary, but a willingness to try new things is required!
